Six Facts You’re Not Being Told About Lost Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

Six Facts about missing airliner

The world is baffled as to what happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 several days ago. One of the largest commercial airliners in existence, a Boeing 777, simply vanished from radar, in a day of advanced technology, and out of sight, in a heavily populated region. Half of the world’s entire population lives in Asia, yet not a single pair of eyes have seen this giant airplane.

Investigators seem to be clueless as to what has happened and have only recently decided they’ve been looking in the wrong place. At least that’s what they’re telling us.

The online site Educate Inspire has recently published a story that asks us to look at six facts that the mainstream media is not telling us. And it’s not conspiracy. These are reasonable questions that are as of yet to be answered.

• Fact #1: All Boeing 777 commercial jets are equipped with black box recorders that can survive any on-board explosion

No explosion from the plane itself can destroy the black box recorders. They are bomb-proof structures that hold digital recordings of cockpit conversations as well as detailed flight data and control surface data.

• Fact #2: All black box recorders transmit locator signals for at least 30 days after falling into the ocean

Yet the black box from this particular incident hasn’t been detected at all. That’s why investigators are having such trouble finding it. Normally, they only need to “home in” on the black box transmitter signal. But in this case, the absence of a signal means the black box itself — an object designed to survive powerful explosions — has either vanished, malfunctioned or been obliterated by some powerful force beyond the worst fears of aircraft design engineers.

• Fact #3: Many parts of destroyed aircraft are naturally bouyant and will float in water

In past cases of aircraft destroyed over the ocean or crashing into the ocean, debris has always been spotted floating on the surface of the water. That’s because — as you may recall from the safety briefing you’ve learned to ignore — “your seat cushion may be used as a flotation device.”

Yes, seat cushions float. So do many other non-metallic aircraft parts. If Flight 370 was brought down by an explosion of some sort, there would be massive debris floating on the ocean, and that debris would not be difficult to spot. The fact that it has not yet been spotted only adds to the mystery of how Flight 370 appears to have literally vanished from the face of the Earth.

• Fact #4: If a missile destroyed Flight 370, the missile would have left a radar signature

One theory currently circulating on the ‘net is that a missile brought down the airliner, somehow blasting the aircraft and all its contents to “smithereens” — which means very tiny pieces of matter that are undetectable as debris.

The problem with this theory is that there exists no known ground-to-air or air-to-air missile with such a capability. All known missiles generate tremendous debris when they explode on target. Both the missile and the debris produce very large radar signatures which would be easily visible to both military vessels and air traffic authorities.

• Fact #5: The location of the aircraft when it vanished is not a mystery

Air traffic controllers have full details of almost exactly where the aircraft was at the moment it vanished. They know the location, elevation and airspeed — three pieces of information which can readily be used to estimate the likely location of debris.

Remember: air safety investigators are not stupid people. They’ve seen mid-air explosions before, and they know how debris falls. There is already a substantial data set of airline explosions and crashes from which investigators can make well-educated guesses about where debris should be found. And yet, even armed with all this experience and information, they remain totally baffled on what happened to Flight 370.

• Fact #6: If Flight 370 was hijacked, it would not have vanished from radar

Hijacking an airplane does not cause it to simply vanish from radar. Even if transponders are disabled on the aircraft, ground radar can still readily track the location of the aircraft using so-called “passive” radar (classic ground-based radar systems that emit a signal and monitor its reflection).

Thus, the theory that the flight was hijacked makes no sense whatsoever. When planes are hijacked, they do not magically vanish from radar.

Conclusion: Flight 370 did not explode; it vanished

The inescapable conclusion from what we know so far is that Flight 370 seems to have utterly and inexplicably vanished. It clearly was not hijacked (unless there is a cover-up regarding the radar data), and we can all be increasingly confident by the hour that this was not a mid-air explosion (unless debris suddenly turns up that they’ve somehow missed all along).

The inescapable conclusion is that Flight 370 simply vanished in some way that we do not yet understand. This is what is currently giving rise to all sorts of bizarre-sounding theories across the ‘net, including discussions of possible secret military weapons tests, Bermuda Triangle-like ripples in the fabric of spacetime, and even conjecture that non-terrestrial (alien) technology may have teleported the plane away.

So what do you think? Bermuda Triangle? Aliens? Or is it just that the world is way bigger than we view it as being and there’s still a lot of area that is yet to be searched? Let us know in the comments below.

  • Kimbo Slice

There was a 12 mile oil streak I’m sure it just sank over the ocean.

  • Yipicya

How about…. they disabled ALL of the transponders (which is possible) and flew the plane somewhere else and killed everyone aboard, for use later.

  • Marb_C

The oil slick was found to be unrelated.

  • WitchWay

The oil streak mentioned in early reports was found to be the type of oil that comes from ships, not planes.

  • chuck

That still wouldn’t explain how the plane completely vanished at just over 3,000 feet. IFF Transponders are passive and only squawk ID of aircraft in response to the ping of radar. Conventional radar does all the active tracking work.

  • Dale S.

Chemical analysis has determined it was not aviation fuel, but the same chemical makeup of oil used in maritime operations.

  • Morvis

Keep up, yo! This was ruled out before the weekend was even up.

  • Ben Staymates

Crazy thought. How about it never took off? Or existed for that matter. No one dies. They claim stolen passports are the reason this all happened and want to put an ID chip in everyone. False flag without harming a fly. Boom goes the dynamite.

  • John Sims

Aliens, been saying it the whole time. It’s just shocking now because we have the internet, and everyone heard about it.

  • Terita Joanne McCoy

Doesn’t explain the cell phones! GPS? PING? Someone knows what is going on! Maybe all a HOAX TO GET OUR THOUGHTS ON SOMETHING ELSE WHILST BIG BAD THINGS ARE IN THE WORKS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS! And meanwhile what is the news in Ukraine and Israel? What is the illegal prez doing at this moment?

  • Mike Wilcox

At this moment this makes the most sense to me.

  • Terita Joanne McCoy

Maybe holding passengers till plane is converted into a bomb filled fighter then passengers reloaded told they are going home then flying them to united states or Israel to bomb one of them. Flying plane into buildings etc. Hate to think it but possible.

  • Terita Joanne McCoy

This is what I have been saying tooooo along with my other theory of plane stolen to load nukes on then hitting us or Israel with passenger being told to reboard to fly home but never making it home!

  • Charles Bainter

Along those line, a radio guy here in St. Louis thinks it may actually be used to attacked Lloyd’s of London later this month during an English Bank holiday in an effort to hide some rather unscrupulous business dealings and lack of reported funds on their part.

  • Snowflake

lol seriously I like this page but Aliens?? is that a joke? It took 2 years to find an Air France plane that vanished without a trace too, also was thought to be a terrorist-related event. It was found in an underwater cave. No debris because it was in the underwater cave, no signals because it was in an underwater cave, no calls to loved ones because before everyone knew it they were in the water, and it was found to be pilot error. The only thing that is unexplained today about that flight is why the pilots didn’t send a distress signal because there was no sign of mechanical failure, but some think it’s just because the plane went down too fast without warning. Even the passengers were all still strapped to their seats.

  • Snowflake

I’d sooner believe it was a hoax than aliens.

  • peter kirk

the powers that temporally be,,know what happened. there’s just a bunch of CYA going on right now before they revel the lie.

  • FallenHeros

The only logical explanation is a secret devolpment had taken place and this is the first human vessel to warp out of this solar system and they found haven on a much better planet not occupied by humans.

  • Karl Johnson

All telemetry can be stopped/blocked from onboard the plane, and flying low would hide it from radar.
    Smart hijackers could do this.

  • farrightextreme

    Give me a break.

  • Keith Ciaccio

Military radar tracked this plane for 100 miles after the civilian tracking system lost the signal. Fact. The Chinese satellite imagery of the area the military traced it to shows something that could be Wreckage. Fact. Right before it dropped from civilian radar monitoring there was a change of direction, the military radar tracked turning back around. Fact. This plane is totally fly by wire, meaning system can be hacked and totally hijacked remotely. Fact. This also leaves open the possibility of shutting off all signals from the plane back to the manufacturer who monitor the trouble could sent back and radio equipment. Ping signals from Black boxes are very very limited range. Took two years to find and recover from the Air France disaster in 2009 with same model of plane. Fact.

  • Yipicya

Is it possible (I really don’t know) to fly plane below radar coverage? I honestly believe you might see this plane crater in at Dimona (Israeli Nuclear Facility) or Tel Aviv at some point.

  • tupac

    So they say…

  • Nick

AF447 in 2009 was an Airbus A330. This aircraft was a Boeing 777. Do more research on your “Facts”.

  • Vunderlak

I don’t know what happened, and I won’t even speculate. Too sinister for my mind to comprehend without a few beers, but you are so correct. People who say “facts” after every sentence usually do not have any of them.

  • R BLack

Only one problem with some of your theories. Falling in flames from 30,000 feet your seat cushion might get a little charred. Like many in the past it will be found. The truth? We may never no, Speculate? .We thrive for it.

  • Michelle Sykes

    How about a non-nuclear emp….check out this

as valid as anything else being thrown around and would definitely explain why there has been absolutely no electronic signals from ANYONE onboard!

  • Arior Shearsant

FACT # 2 is incorrect… Blackboxes ping for 48hrs give or take a few mins to a few hrs

  • Aircav

Fact I have almost 30 as an avionics technician (aircraft electronics) and NO Fly-By-Wire can NOT be remotely hijacked. This is the real world, not a movie, get facts straight!

  • Cliff E.

The transponder is a simple switch easy to turn off. they can easily fly under the radar…. however there aren’t too many places you can land that big bird. barring a military air base or large airport they have to set it down somewhere.

now it could be possible the pilot made a perfect landing on the water and it simply glided down, but there is a problem there the black box’s transponder would immediately kick on once it hit the ocean floor or the aircraft flooded.

now it if was a hijack by the two guys on fake passports someone on the plane would have gotten a call off that things were awry.

  • dave

Black box pings for 30 days not 48 hrs….

  • Franklin Crittenden

Ever heard the terrn”under the radar”?

  • Walter Zimmerman

I’m curious about the two Indonesian on the plane. Indonesia is just west of Malaysia in the flight pattern, IF it did in fact make that 135% left hand turn they keep showing on TV & Media. Obama has ties to Indonesia & those two my be working with Obama & Malaysia Military. I DON’T put anything past Obama & his criminal Brotherhood friend’s.

  • Dan

I’m With You, A few Beer & let The Experts Figure it out, Even if we found the answer no one would pay any attention until the plane was found a few years from now. Then they will say, ( I’ll be Damned, Those guys with the beer were right ) ?? Only time will Tell,

  • Just Some Dude

Everyone already knows Q 1-4 and yes the media is mentioning them. 5 and 6 are idiot questions.

    5. Duh they know where the plane was lost at, it’s last known position. Where it went from there is the mystery.

    6. Just drop below radar and bingo, off the screen…

Whomever came up with these 6 Q’s is a moron!

  • That Guy

Let’s go semi-old school… How about if we triangulate where the cell signals are coming from. If the phones are ringing, they can do this.

Since the “Professionals” have not done this yet, I would be led to believe that it is a hoax and the plane never existed.

  • Dakota Burns

how is this information we didnt know about. a 3 year old that watches the news could figure all this shit out

  • That Guy

Hell, GPS on one of the phones can pinpoint where it is. There are websites that can do this for you.

  • Devil Dog

You probably don’t know that ALL aircraft are tracked by satellite. Radar is ONLY used for take off and approach. They know where it is. I personally believe China shot it down, and all these other governments don’t want to embarrass their master.

  • David M. Carloni

The only solution that I could come up with is that the pilot ditched the plane into the ocean intact. The downed jet then sank intact into the ocean…..

  • smarterthanthisguy^

You’re an idiot… Air France doesn’t fly 777s, and “fly-by-wire” refers to the fact that there is an on board computer that translates pilot control into mechanical operation (just like every car’s electric throttle control does now) instead of a gear and pulley situation like older aircraft did. This leads to, above all else, a smoother flight.

  • BejeweledOne

A plane that big? People would have seen it, called about it, reported it because it was flying so low. You can’t shut everybody up.

  • Sgt Mcstinkynuts

    I agree.

  • Keith Ciaccio

Look it up. Boeing says it is possible and has warned of the possibility of doing it.

  • Mariah Carey

What if, the plane actually was hijacked, I know it wouldn’t have just gone off radar however, they turned course to go to another country to maybe hit a target, it ran out of fuel and crashed in a larger ocean area?

  • Keith Ciaccio
  • David Pratt

It is possible to avoid detection on radar by flying low enough, especially in areas over the ocean. I think it was hijacked and flown somewhere and landed and the passengers were deplaned and probably killed. I would not be a bit surprised to see this plane being used in another attack like 9-11. This would explain the silence by terrorist groups; they don’t want to tip their hand yet.

  • David Pratt

But Radar is line-of-sight, which means if you fly low enough you can get under it and avoid detection, especially over the ocean. Most modern commercial Radars use the transponders to determine altitude, Heading and speed as well as ID. If a pilot turned it off, it would take the equipment and operator a few minutes to adjust and determine all that. And given that a lot of the 777 is made from carbon fiber materials, Conventional Radar might have problems detecting it by itself without a transponder.

  • James M Morriss

So you believe “them” when “they” tell you that it was not Av-fuel but not when they tell you there was a flight and it took off; that “they” are going to use this plane for some future attack; that “they” are not involved with the disappearance? I understand that dichotomic thought process completely. Idiots all.

The plane has not vanished but is not where they are looking. The question is why? Was the plane in the wrong place or are they purposely looking in the wrong area? One of the two things is out of place. I question why can the pilots even have the ability to turn off tracking transponders? Where or what are the sources of information? Presumably there should be many radars tracking that plane in that part of the world. Vietnam, China, Laos, Cambodia, Russia, US, etc Remember Not all radars are ground based. Ship, Planes and satellites are equipped with radars.

There are also acoustic signatures of explosions, impacts, and sinkings that can be heard for large distances under water. I’m not familiar with the “importance” of monitoring the area for the military or scientifically but both of those communities monitor seismic and acoustic activity all over the globe. The acoustic recorders captured the sub disaster in the Atlantic back in the late 1960’s(USS Scorpion); do you think they have gotten less sensitive and deployed around the globe since then? Plus any subs in the area ( a very large area) around the suspected sites would be able to “hear ” the events. Even though surface events are less “loud” that events at depth, the can be heard.

I have a hard time believing that there is not more data than “they” are admitting to. This plane is somewhere. It is easy for a plane to “vanish” from a distant radar source and continue for miles. Ask the smugglers. The plane is just not where they are looking. It may be “they” are stalling for time so that debris may dissipate from and across the surface. Some will not sink for years and mat well end up in the Pacific trash heap, but who will be looking for it?

  • 1911HeadBanger

Oh Geez. Here they come. The Crazies are coming out of the woodwork. The UFO Abductions, the False Flags, the Alex Jonesies. People, there is an explanation for happened and sooner or later it will be discovered. But it ain’t Aliens, time warps, black holes or False Flag operations. Now… go take your freakin’ psychiatric medication and calm down. By the way; we really did go to the moon.

  • Chad Dolloff

The problem is though that if it was an EMP it would have fried the cell phones too and they would go straight to voice mail instead of ringing. This whole thing is very strange. Somebody knows something.

  • James M Morriss

I have a question for the “experts” (at least more expert than me) that are out there. If the pilot of this aircraft pulled a “sully” and landed this aircraft, intact, what are the results? How much evidence will there be of the event? I can’t remember that there was much evidence left on the Hudson, but that was so different.

  • George Waring

You stole my theory, I’ve thought that since day one.

  • George Waring

When Columbia burned up there was debris and even bodies, enough intact to identify the astronauts. That was obviously a smaller vehicle and was at a greater altitude. So what am I getting at? I really don’t know.

  • Kaitlin C Brown

My first thought is the black box was destroyed, first airplane to be stolen and all people were killed most likely in flight before take over so know one could report problem. but who could hide a plane, hide the bodies and for what terrorist plot do they perceive could be accomplished without detection. Second thought, plane never took off and this is a distraction; where are the personal interviews with suffering family and interviews with flight staff?

  • Justin Harriman

The 777 makes extensive use of lightweight, cost-effective structural materials that lessen the overall weight of the airplane and contribute to the fuel efficiency of the 777. For example, an improved aluminum alloy is used in the upper wing skin and stringers. Known as 7055, this alloy offers greater compression strength than previous alloys, enabling designers to save weight and also improve corrosion and fatigue resistance.

Progress in the development and fabrication of weight-saving advanced composite materials is evident in the 777. Carbon fibers embedded in recently available toughened resins are found in the vertical and horizontal tails. The floor beams of the passenger cabin also are made of these advanced composite materials.

Other composite applications include those on secondary structures such as aerodynamic fairings. Composites, including resins and adhesives, account for twelve percent of the 777’s structural weight. This is the same type of composite material used on the 787 Dreamliner….so not most of the plane is made from carbon fiber……

  • Jeff230

I think nose dive under full power and filled with water and sank

  • Peter Charles Miller

Time is an illusion…it will reappear and the passengers will be no wiser…yea, just imagining.

  • JDub1701

Umm… Radar signatures are only detectable so long as the radar is operational. Also, the orientation of the array is a factor in the detectability of a radar signature.

  • Woogie

    30 days is accurate

  • JustJohn

what if the transponders were disconnected or disabled and the plane flew below radar like the drug runners use to do keeping it below the radar level and flown elsewhere where the plane was taken over ???

  • self proclaimed heuganaut

  • Ca Militia Man

You have to have something to transmit a radar signal to detect a plane. How many radar towers do you know of in the middle of the ocean? I don’t believe we are getting the full story, but you sir are making people that question the reports look crazy.

  • Ronda

glad I’m not the only one thinking that!!

  • Bill Hurley

    30000 feet

  • Del Ann Haslett

Maybe it’s the beginning of the rapture? Just a thought.

  • Justin Corey

Only explanation I can give (not an expert in this) that cabin pressure malfunctioned and caused all crew and passengers to blackout and while the plane was manually piloted caused the plane nose dive at an extreme angle . . . While the plane hit the water at such a speed it continued to nose dive underwater and with no air pressure into the plane enabled it to sink to the ocean floor . . . Unknown how deep the floor is might make the black box difficult to trace (don’t want to be slated on here but I welcome any opinion to correct me wrong including Mr Fact Man

  • Del Ann Haslett

Maybe it is the beginning of the rapture? Just a thought.

  • kreg

    It’s simple guys…. langoleirs

  • otwoods

Unfortunately, this place would be occupied by humans the moment the plane warped into the “other planet.” The undiscovered planet would be invaded by humans.

  • Cindy Waite Meader

Maybe its the start of the Rapsure is that what they say people will just start disappearing

  • Howetexas

Why not just nerve-gas all on board and just sit the plan down and let it sink in shallow waters. Cut out the black box and destroy it. Oh, wait, that was Thunderball. Where is Bond when he is needed. That’s right, can’t have guns in the U.K. anymore. On a serious note though, it sounds sinister but the entire world is watching.

  • Truth sets free

I actually don’t bother, since there re more important things in the world, like the mass poverty in the third world countries. This story is an actual distraction for the public so the governments of the world can do what they want to achieve without the public eyes. Thank Jesus he knows whats really going on and he’ll give answers to us if we need it.

  • Truth sets free

Oh Illuminati! We wont fall for this story again! There are more better things to FOCUS our attention on.

  • Sgt mcstinkynuts

I guarantee you we had an AWACS airborne in that area as well as ship borne radar.

  • JEM87

Another distraction while o bummer cleans out the US and sells it to the Muslim brotherhood.

  • javabnz

could be just a hoax to give the gov’ts reason to clamp down on people flying even more … the hoops we have to jump through now are utterly ridiculous … this will only make it worse and give them power behind the most minimal, stupidest, implausible excuse to detain anyone for no reason

  • Nelson Lane

    One word, Lost.

  • Lisa Bergeson

I don’t think the plane vanished, it is there in the water, or pieces of it are. Who in hell flies a plane to China so that you can meet up with your momma and claim asylum in Germany?? And the reason missiles are tracked is because silicon is sprayed and used a guide, temporarily, very temporarily.

  • Lisa Bergeson

Bingo. and why are 2 Iranians flying to china to claim asylum with their “mommas” in Germany?

  • dligac

I’d sooner believe it was my never existing uncle from another dimension of another parallel universe than what media are telling us.

  • dligac

Yeah I think you still believe that twin towers fell because of pancake effect.
    Don’t be dumb please.

  • dligac

  • dligac

  • dligac

how HOW IN THE WORLD could you believe that shit???
Fly-by-wire (FBW) is a system that replaces the conventional manual flight controls of an aircraft with an electronic interface. The movements of flight controls are converted to electronic signals transmitted by wires (hence the fly-by-wire term), and flight control computers determine how to move the actuators at each control surface to provide the ordered response. The fly-by-wire system also allows automatic signals sent by the aircraft’s computers to perform functions without the pilot’s input, as in systems that automatically help stabilize the aircraft.[1]
Straight from wikipedia dude. DONT BE DUMB

Ummm… there were 20 people aboard the flight that worked on technology to make planes and ships disappear from the battlefield.

  • Kim

if 1) you weren’t blowing it up mid air as a suicide attack and 2) you weren’t going to use 239 people as hostages for your own gain, it seems that there would be an easier way to steal a plane than hijacking that many people that you would have to contend with in order to get the plane.

Stolen – Ben – they already fingerprint children in grade school, and most of them have cell phones with gps already so your id chip idea seems more of a far fetched conspiracy theory. Although i do not doubt that is something gvt’s want to do, but again it would most likely be something they implement at a childhood lvl and if you really wanted to make it a conspiracy they probably would not even tell you they are doing it making it some required vaccine for children . . .

  • An actual fucking pilot

You can play all these games all day. The Indian Ocean is 28 million square miles in size. That’s million with an M. Transponders are not magic, you have to receive the signal to locate them. And assuming it is floating in the oceans somewhere (which is likley, the one thing this article isn’t misleading on). Bestides the black box and or ELT, all the searchers have to find little tiny chuncks of broken airplane is their mk.1 eyeballs.
The point that its known course and airspeed were known when it vanished are pointless. If the aircraft deviates even half a degree from it’s known heading, it can be thrown off thousands of miles. Which by the way, is not the direction the airplane is pointing, it’s the direction it’s determined to be heading after all the things that effect it, like wind, the rotation of the earth, etc.
And those of you who say “what about cell phones and GPS” need to stick to making angry stories up about Obama. Next time you’re on a commercial flight, try turning your cell phone on. Not much fucking signal eh? How about this: walk behind a hill or go through a drive in the mountains. Surprise, no signal there either. GPS works by receiving a satellite signal, not transmitting anything.

Know faults with a 777 decompression due to cracks, crew pass out (mumlking heard),fuel line or tank explodes or engine fire takes out electrics, possibly due to super lightening, the plane would have been on auto pilot, the crew try to rectify (right left moves on radar) but cant save.
It’s now with one engine, these dont fly too well but with 2 engines failed it would drop.(note oil rig guy saw a fire on a plane and then it went out) did they shut down the engine?

If the junior was flying the plane he may have stalled it trying to climb on one engine only, if he wasn’t unconcious. (very like aire france disatser with no dials giving reliable data)

Siesmic activity recorded as plane hits bottom?. So maybe this thing dived at full speed with unconcious crew? Do planes really float anyway?

Alternatively if it did change direction, could it have crashed where they presently have forest fires in Malaysia and could it be the break up that caused the fires?.

Dont forget it took at least 5 days and nearly 2 years to find air france flight as it was 3900m down!
They had to get the Titanic seaerch crew in to find it…

If it was on auto pilot, as it would have been, unless there was a failure, could it be somewhere else?

See the history on the 777 on wikapedia, its not squeaky clean for faults.

Also note this area has had many planes disappear and no trace ever been found .
I sincerely hope they can find it but we can only speculate.

See the Air France report on youtube for clues. There were 17 incidences of issues with those plane and they didn’t ground them until people died.

    Greed at our expense!

As of March 2014, the 777 has been in 10 aviation accidents and incidents,[211] including three confirmed hull-loss accidents,[212] and three hijackings.[213] Before 2013, the only fatality involving the twinjet occurred in a refueling fire at Denver International Airport on September 5, 2001, during which a ground worker sustained fatal burns.[214] The aircraft, operated by British Airways, suffered fire damage to the lower wing panels and engine housing; it was later repaired and returned to service.[214][215]

The type’s first hull-loss occurred on January 17, 2008, when British Airways Flight 38,
a 777-200ER with Rolls-Royce Trent 895 engines flying from Beijing to
London, crash-landed approximately 1,000 feet (300 m) short of Heathrow
Airport’s runway 27L and slid onto the runway’s threshold. There were 47 injuries and no fatalities. The impact damaged the landing gear, wing roots and engines. The aircraft was written off.[216][217] Upon investigation, the accident was blamed on ice crystals from the fuel system clogging the fuel-oil heat exchanger (FOHE).[210] In 2009, air accident investigators called for a redesign of this component on the Trent 800 series engine.[218] Redesigned fuel oil heat exchangers were installed in British Airways’ 777s by October 2009.[219]

Two other minor momentary losses of thrust with Trent 895 engines occurred in February and November 2008.[220][221] The National Transportation Safety Board
(NTSB) investigators concluded that, just as on BA38, the loss of power
was caused by ice in the fuel clogging the fuel-oil heat exchanger. As a
result, the heat exchanger was redesigned.[210]

The type’s second hull-loss occurred on July 29, 2011, when an EgyptAir 777-200ER registered as SU-GBP suffered a cockpit fire while parked at the gate at Cairo International Airport.[222] The plane was successfully evacuated with no injuries,[222] and airport fire teams extinguished the fire.[223] The aircraft sustained structural, heat and smoke damage. This aircraft was written off.[222][223] Investigators focused on a possible electrical fault with a supply hose in the cockpit crew oxygen system.[222]

The type’s third hull loss and first involving fatalities occurred on July 6, 2013, when Asiana Airlines Flight 214, 777-200ER registered HL7742, crashed while landing at San Francisco International Airport
after touching down short of the runway. Surviving passengers and crew
evacuated before fire destroyed the aircraft. The crash led to the death
of three of the 307 people on board. These were the first fatalities in
a crash involving a 777.[224][225][226] An accident investigation by the NTSB is underway; its initial focus is on the aircraft’s low landing speed.[227]

On March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, a 777-200ER carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew, was reported missing en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Air Traffic Control’s last reported coordinates for the aircraft were over the South China Sea at 6°55′15″N 103°34′43″E.[228][229] The aircraft has not been located as of March 13, 2014.[230]

why has no one mentioned that both pilots were Muslims?? kinda relevent… should have been investigated from the get go… not eight days later… someone screwed this up big time.

And the plane did not vanish (hello?) it was STOLEN …….. sorry, I was still laughing when you said the #1 big secret is that every Boeing 777 is equipped with a “black box” ~ news flash (not a secret) as ALL commercial airliners are equipped with them, not just the 777 ……. anyways, had a good laugh at all the “secrets” not being discussed >>> you should watch the news sometime, just say’n ***OR*** check out my FB page and get the link to my Webcast The BLAST! crazy how all the russian/american talks have been quelled on the media. US to sanction Russia, but Russia was sanctioning the US? If it were a coverup, or even if they didnt take off (above), there are still family members with missing people. id hate to be one of those families. To know what really is happening, or not knowing would both kill me

  • Walt Craig

criss angel needed to revive his career……this illusion is it!

  • Yazra

I dont think anyone ever said it exploded?….

  • Stephen Heim

But how low do you have to go to get under the radar? You get too low and everyone can see it.

  • Wyatt J

Let’s see, You think that they are maybe just lying to everyone AGAIN?? Well, I am sure not gullible enough. The UN has been gaining way too much ground in the world. For some reason the world has begun to believe everything and anything the (LYING ASS) Media and their ( DECEPTIVE, MINIPULATING LYING ASS) Government tells them, instead of trusting their intuition and instincts. WAKE THE FUCK UP !!!

  • Zac

The turbines on that plane transmit all sorts of info back down to the manufacturer (rolls royce). The plane climbed from 40k ft to 47k ft. Then dropped back down to 40k(if I remember correctly) over the course of about 1 minute. Suggesting a hijacking. The plane also continued to fly for 2200 miles or so, meaning it could be almost anywhere in a circle with an area of 1.52×10^7 miles. Literally a fraction of a needle in a literal haystack.

  • josh

The Iranians with the stolen passports had a device possibly disguised as a laptop that when triggered set off an EMP, thus destroying all electronics on board. Transponders, cell phones, black box. They already know this, but they won’t ever let that info get out. It would cause mass panick. If people are afraid to fly and airline s aren’t profitable that’s billions in taxes the government would lose. And we all know our governments tax revenue is more important to them than a few American lives.

  • Michael James

Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar does not receive returns(reflected RF energy) from aircraft. ATC rely on airborne transponders installed in aircraft within the operational range of the ATC ground systems, the ATC will transmit a signal received by the airborne system, the airborne system will reply with a uniquely coded transmission to the ATC ground system. No one is radar monitoring commercial aircraft throughout the entire flight.

  • Michael James

Or maybe these expert reporters could use the internet for something other than fear mongering and baseless speculation. Everything you would ever want to know about commercial aircraft operations can be found through your choice of search engine. Just Google it, learn something.

  • Jon C

Black boxs ONLY ping once in water. Will not do so on land as they are only water activated. Cell phone have been explained many, many times. Combination of altitude, lack of cell towers over water, and lack of phone equipment within plane.

  • Thunderbolt

No, the Bible is clear, the rapture will happen faster than you can blink your eye, all born again believers will be gone that fast, not “over time” and the graves of those that died “saved” will be opened and their bodies gone as they will have new glorified bodies. Now, many of you “bright” folks are not going to believe this and so that is the way it is, but I promise you this, the world will know when the rapture has occurred and its not going to be pretty for those that are left behind.

  • bewisetoday

False Flag…military intervention is not far behind…..just another reason to parade our ships around….all in the name of safety….right?

  • Brian

You’re an idiot. Our legitimate pres is fighting republicans so the poor and middle class get a fair shake. Keep worshipping the rich honey and see where it gets you honey.

  • Brian

If a plane entered US or Isreal airspace, and did not belong, would be shot down immediately. It would never make it over US or Israel airspace.

  • Michaela

Most people have their phones on airplane mode when they’re on an airplane.

  • aniee

  • jiggy 346819

i feel the plane has landed a long time ago in either iran, kazakistan, or russia if there was enough fuel aboard. i understand the 777 can hold about 5600 nauticle miles worth of fuel. that might be enough. landing somewhere in that group that previously agreed to complete silence.

  • Shannon Laramie

LOL! Go back to sleep Brian!

  • Me

Who’s everyone? All the fish in the ocean?

  • Brian

Keep suckin on that religious bullshit the rich are feeding you to keep you under their little finger. I joined a union and make three times what you do. UHHHH, bet that pisses you, ignorant trash.

  • dee

this is not a mystery its hijacked by snowden believe or not after he left US he went to Russia now on that plane.its my opinion only.

  • dee

blackbox everyone talking about i think its bullshit talk boz it can be destroyed by any person who hijacked the plane at the time it vanished and landed.i have one question to Malaysian airport authority and Air force team,”why Malaysia did not inform all the plane flying that time when they receive its last message and locationfrom the co-pilot. and make plotter and start its search mission within the area it vanished and they have to spread to all the country air-force within the possible areas to track the missing airplane in their radar and track them immediately.

  • Shannon Laramie

Who said anything about religion. And wha does how much you make have to do with this. It has absolutely nothing to do with it. This has to do with the president lying to us on a daily basis. Fast and furious Obamacare the IRS Targeting conservative groups Benghazi Weak foreign policy Unemployment rate that is around 11 percent. And you want to bring up how much you make? Like I said go back to sleep you fool

  • Mike E

C’mon people….Seriously?!?!?!?! Here! Read this and stop with the conspiracy theories, etc.:

  • Brian

Honey if you really believe anything Obama has done is near as bad as Georgie w bushy starting an illegal war by lying about weapons of mass destruction, then you really are ignorant. Bet you live in the south, they are the most uneducated, unintelligent people on the planet(fact), continuously vote repub, thus they are the poorest people alive. Oh and since you mentioned the main stream media and the less informed did you know Fox news was sued for lying to their viewers? And did you know they said they were an entertainment company and not a legitimate news organization? Heres the link, get someone to read it to you So maybe, just maybe you’ve been brainwashed by someone who stands to gain from keeping the unintelligent misinformed. Oh and as for the unemployment rate, it was 7.3% under Bushy, it’s 6.7% under Obama(Bureau of labor statistics), you won’t hear that on Fox News. Someone has been sleeping, and it sure wasn’t me. But I understand, you’re just another, brainwashed, uneducated, ignorant republican who doesn’t want to know the truth. LOL

  • Del Ann Haslett

I really do know that….it was more of a tongue in cheek answer. I just find it ironic that it took over a week just for them to start looking into the pilots’ background. And no one wants to call it terrorism! Or is it just a smoke screen to shield the fact the Obozo is screwing up everything else with his Obozocare and the fact that he is getting bitch slapped around by Putin. Maybe some have it correct and this never happened. Not sure with this government.

  • 1911HeadBanger

Yes, I do. And you are not a damn explosives expert or a building engineer, so shut the f*ck up and go play with Alex Jones.

  • Just Some Dude

I can see China doing that, but the problem with satellites is clouds (hence AWACS).

Anyway, they still ain’t found that thing!

The plane is in a hangar at Diego Garcia. It will re- emerge on the 30th, in a massive terror attack. This will be a distraction from what should be the biggest headline on the 31st, which is Pope Francis’ trial in Brussels for conspiracy involving the cover-up of a child pedophilia ring. Or not…who knows.

  • Flávio Prieto

UFOs: I knew it! Now being serious: hijacking is the most probable alternative. Someone with enough knowledge about modern planes and transponders could have switched the system off. A suicidal hijacking would be the most probable scénario, to me.

  • zac

liberal…………….is what you are and to tell you the truth you are so ignorant to everything if you blame this on George Bush. This has been going on since the begging of the United States. The problem isn’t really the govt officials its the big banks, the federal reserve, NATO,EU, General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, Bretton Woods system,Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg Group, and Trilateral Commission.Wake up the have brain washed you

  • zac research. passive radar only can cover up to 200 miles. so they could easily fly the plane 300 miles off the coast of Indonesia or India or any other country near Pakistan onto Iran..

  • Brian

LOL, Who’s blaming this on Bushy? Not me. I blamed the illegal war in Iraq on Bushy. But I so agree with you that the problem is,,” big banks, the federal reserve, NATO,EU, General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, Bretton Woods system,Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg Group, and Trilateral Commission.” If you really believe this then you are a liberal. Conservatives fight everyday to give more money to the big banks and rich and the rest at the expense of taxpayers, the middle class, the poor and our country. If you don’t know this then you’ve really been brainwashed. Sorry I spoke the truth about Fox (Faux) news but you won’t hear of any other “news” organization suiing for the fight to lie to its viewers.

  • kresge

The pilot’s personal life was a mess, he was disillusioned with Malaysia’s government, and he had a flight simulator in his home for a reason (I have pilot friends and they don’t have one), which leads me be believe this pilot was on a suicide mission… where he planned to make a name for himself.

  • sex only

Some one did hijack it because my cousin was on board at the time and texted me.
