Father Strip Searched, Children Taken by CPS Because Daughter Drew Picture of A Toy Gun
A little girl at a public school drew a picture of a man standing in her home’s kitchen holding a gun. The nightmare that her family went through next is unbelievable, but unfortunately, very true. When the little girl’s father, Jesse Sansone, showed up to pick his daughter and other children up from school that day, he was arrested. Police found a toy gun with foam darts on his person, so they proceeded to do an entire strip search.
Sansone and his pregnant wife have four children. All four children were taken by child protective services and held for hours while Sansone was interrogated for having been in possession of a toy gun that shot foam darts. His wife, for some time, didn’t even know where her baby was. “So, my wife was really panicking at that point,” Sansone said. “So her and the detective drove down to children’s services. They questioned each of my children.” “At that interview, I wasn’t there, my wife wasn’t there, but my boys, all they know right now is: ‘Daddy and guns, guns and Daddy’ – my kids knew all the police were at the school because of me. Now I have to explain to them how much of a mistake this is,” he added.
It turns out that the picture the little girl drew was supposed to be her father shooting monsters. However, school officials claimed that anytime a student draws a picture of a gun, the parents must be interrogated. Now, after the ‘necessary interrogation’ one family is trying to put their lives back together. They are transferring their children to another school and may consider a law suit. No, this didn’t happen in the former Soviet Union, but it did happen in Canada, a nation that has very strict gun control laws- laws which the Obama administration is trying to mirror in the U.S. The question for Americans is, do you want to be strip searched and have your children taken away should one of your children draw a picture of a gun? If your answer is no, the time to wake up to what is going on around you is now, before you find yourself living a nightmare equal to Canada’s.
